Yoga weekends and retreats on the Isle Wight are hosted by Godshill Park Farm and a wonderful collection of inspirational teachers. Our secret to wellbeing? Good, honest locally sourced food, creative and experienced yoga teachers, a warm cosy environment and some honest fresh air. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty the farm is the perfect venue to unwind, relax and reconnect with your quieter nature. The yoga is practised in an oak panelled hall with a log burning fire as centrepiece. Private treatments, massage, reiki and facials, can be provided by our therapist to complement your well-being experience.
Each teacher shapes a weekend differently, however, a typical retreat starts on a Friday afternoon with chai and a chat, followed by an early evening yoga practice before supper. The quietness of the farm provides the perfect opportunity to explore meditation on the Saturday morning before a juice and a yoga asana practice prior to midmorning brunch. A walk up onto the downs or on the wild south-west beaches is often requested in the afternoon with a second yoga class in the early evening. Saturday’s evening meal is either at the farm or in the village at the award winning pub. Sunday morning mirrors Saturday with a leisurely departure mid afternoon. There is always the option to extend your retreat and stay for an extra night or two on a bed and breakfast basis.
