Godshill Park Cottages are located on the outskirts of Godshill and situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the South half of the island. The village of Godshill is well-known for its pretty thatched cottages, 14th Century church and the model village. There are also lovely tearooms, shops, a toy museum and a small natural history museum to keep you entertained along with tasty food at the Griffin Inn, The Taverners Tel. 01983 840707, Woods Kitchen Tel. 01983 840909 and Tansys Pantry

Brownriggs Farm farm shop is approx 2 miles from the farm and stocks a wide range of own grown vegetables, local produce and organic food.

High street shops, supermarkets and banks are located in Newport and Shanklin.

The sandy beaches of Shanklin and Ventnor are only a short car drive away, a longer walk or perhaps you fancy an Isle of Wight cycle with bikes from routefifty7 Bike Hire.

How to get to Godshill Park Farm.
Travelling by car from Newport to Godshill on the A3020, Godshill Park Farm is accessed by a driveway on the right hand-side, 100 metres past the Griffin Inn.

There is a train service from Ryde to Shanklin from where you can either take a taxi or local bus www.islandbuses.info (Southern Vectis) to Godshill. From the bus stop in the village there is a short walk to the house. If these don’t work for you, we may be able to collect you if arranged in advance.

How to get to the Isle of Wight
Frequent services across the Solent makes travelling to the Isle of Wight easy. You have a choice of several ferry operators for car or passenger only crossings.

Isle of Wight car ferries operate from Lymington to Yarmouth (Wightlink), Southampton to East Cowes (Red Funnel) and Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Wightlink), with additional passenger only services provided by high speed catamarans and hovercraft from Southampton to Cowes and Portsmouth or Southsea to Ryde.
