Godshill Park Farm is offering a very special retreat experience. Nestled beneath the downs this enormous old farmhouse has an oak panelled hall with burning log fire in which to indulge our yoga. Local produce is used in the food wherever possible, even homemade preserves from the farm’s own fruit. Kathy and Mark are keen to help preserve native rare breeds of animals and the surrounding farm land is full of sheep, cattle and horses. Llamas and Alpacas graze beside our native breeds and their beautiful fleeces are collected and made into the blankets and cushions you see around the house – perfect for meditation.

Emma will be offering a delightful yoga programme to take participants deeper in their asana, pranayama ( breath work ) and meditation. Ideal for those of you who are curious about delving deeper into your yoga practice. Participants are free to unwind, relax and partake in as much or as little yoga as they wish. There is the promise of great food, walks, horse rides and even llama walks in these beautiful surroundings.

The accommodation is exceptional, some rooms even have impressive four poster beds, available on a first come first served basis so book now. All rooms are immaculate, some are en-suite others have shared bathrooms. For details of the weekend schedule please click here.

The price is for yoga tuition, accommodation, evening meal Friday night and a hearty brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night has the option of either self catering or eating in the village.

Shepherd's Hut by Secret Pond

The built in bed is 4’6″ wide and 6’3″ long

Price includes breakfast in the hall at the farmhouse.  The shower and utility rooms are in the stables just 500yds away.  A compost toilet will be adjacent to the hut.

There is a wood burning stove in the hut which is very well insulated.

We currently have 6 llamas and 5 alpacas which can be taken out for walks on our 270 acres of undulating farmland which is studded with woodland and ponds. The trek will all be off road – so no traffic. The farm is situated in an Area of Outstanding Beauty and includes downland from which there are wonderful far reaching views of the island.

Routes can be tailored to suit different fitness and ability levels. Walks can be at whatever time of day is convenient for you with refreshments provided as wished.
Benefits to be gained from walking with these beautiful animals include fresh air, exercise and distraction from the stresses of everyday life. The tranquillity, natural environment and engagement with an enigmatic animal bring therapeutic benefits and enhance wellbeing.

By the way please be assured we don’t normally ask guests to remove their shoes – there was a particular reason why I did in this case which I can explain to anyone who is interested!!

You were robbed!!  I cannot imagine  even a drug fuelled extrovert with a heightened sense of bad taste would prefer  half lit bowling alleys wearing  flashing rabbit ears to your place ! bloody hell their place was “Better value for money”. Complete crap, cheaper maybe but not better Value . I like your new Shepherds hut though, doubt the Butterfly crowd will  rent it out………………… very nice touch. E and I watched with much amusement last week as GPF featured in the above – we both reckon that the certificate would have looked rather twee and out of place on the lovely furniture in the hall and breakfast area, and that, bearing in mind where you live, it is definitely “1-0 to the Country ‘Pumpkins’”!!

Your bed and breakfast accommodation is wonderful and I really do feel
